Ivana Keser and Maja Janković successfully completed a specialized corporate sustainability training program jointly organized by the Croatian Business Council for Sustainable Development (HR PSOR) and the University of Applied Sciences Velika Gorica.
The training was structured into five thematic modules, designed to provide participants with key knowledge and competencies necessary for understanding and implementing sustainable business practices in line with the latest European regulatory frameworks. The program offered in-depth insights into the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), and the EU Taxonomy for sustainable economic activities.
The five modules covered the following topics:
Module 1: Corporate Governance, Strategy, and Leadership
Module 2: Social Aspects of Sustainability
Module 3: Environmental Management – Emissions and Environmental Indicators
Module 4: Environmental Management – EU Taxonomy
Module 5: Value Chain Management and Supply Chain Sustainability
This training represents a significant step in strengthening the institutional capacity of IRMO researchers in the field of sustainable development, with a particular focus on monitoring and applying the requirements of the evolving European regulatory landscape in both business practices and public policy.
