Researchers from the Department of Resource Economy, Environmental Protection and Regional Development of the Institute for Development and International Relations, Anamarija Farkaš, Ph.D., and Karmen Margeta, Ph.D., edited a new book „Sorption – New Perspectives and Applications“.
This book describes sorption processes that are natural processes present in our everyday life, and presents new knowledge about adsorption and absorption, explores new high-performance sorbents for various applications and highlights new sorption technologies that can significantly contribute to the preservation of the environment and climate. Understanding sorption processes is the basis of process optimization in environmental engineering, industrial applications and materials science. Each of these processes has a range of applications, from cleaning up pollutants to enabling industrial chemical reactions, making them an integral part of modern science and technology.
