IRMO researcher at the international conference CASB 2025 “Creative industries in the tourism and hospitality sector: Challenges and perspectives” in Belgrade

Dr. Daniela Angelina Jelinčić participated in the international conference CASB 2025, Creative Industries in the Sector of Tourism and Hospitality: Challenges and Perspectives, held in Belgrade from 28-29 March 2025. The conference was organized by the Academy of Applied Studies Belgrade and the Department of Geography, Tourism and Hotel Management of the Faculty of Science and Mathematics, University of Novi Sad.

The aim of the conference was to discuss the role of creative industry in the context of the global strategy for achieving the goals of the Sustainable Development Agenda until 2030. Given that global changes and events affect tourism trends, as well as the demand for tourism and hospitality products and services, the need for analysis and implementation of creative solutions in these sectors has become evident.

Dr. Jelinčić participated as a keynote speaker, delivering a presentation titled “Creative Industries in Gastronomy Sector: The Science and Art of Influencing Taste”. The presentation attracted great interest, which resulted in agreements for further cooperation.
