Researchers from the Institute for Development and International Relations, Anamarija Pisarović and Maja Janković, participated in the 17th International Conference EDULEARN25 – International Conference on Education and New Learning Technologies, held from June 30 to July 2, 2025, in Palma de Mallorca, Spain.

IRMO researchers presented their scientific paper on education for sustainable development, titled “Education for Sustainability – Challenges and Trends”, focusing on the role of education in implementing sustainable development goals. The paper analyzes contemporary approaches to education for sustainable development and examines the role of the digital transition and artificial intelligence as tools for promoting a green societal transformation. The emphasis is on the significance of the holistic integration of sustainability themes into educational programs for all generations – from early childhood education to secondary and higher education, as well as adult education.
