IRMO scientist at the inception meeting of the DIKTAS II project in Venice

Marina Funduk, PhD from the Department of Resource Economics, Environmental Protection and Regional Development, IRMO participated in the inception meeting of the UNDP/GEF project “Implementation of the Strategic Action Program (SAP) of the Dinaric Karst Aquifer System: improving groundwater governance and sustainability of related ecosystems – DIKTAS II”, which took place from April 4 – 5, 2024 in Venice and was organized by the UNESCO Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe.

UNESCO, UNDP and Global Environmental Facility (GEF) are joinly implementing this full-size project known as DIKTAS Phase II, which will be implemented in 4 countries – Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro and Croatia.
