Organized by the State School of Public Administration, a specialized workshop on the
fundamentals of AI literacy and compliance with the Artificial Intelligence Act was held on
September 30, 2025. The workshop, intended for public officials, was led by Ivana Keser, a
researcher from the Institute for Development and International Relations (IRMO), in
collaboration with Assoc. Prof. Mihael Mišo Mudrić.
The aim of the workshop was to empower participants to strategically assess the strengths,
weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis) that the introduction of artificial
intelligence brings to the public sector. Through an analytical approach, participants were
educated on methods for recognizing potential benefits as well as the risks associated with
the implementation of AI technologies.
Special emphasis was placed on practical work, where participants were encouraged to
develop concrete ideas for the application of reliable and compliant AI solutions within their
own institutions.
This training represents a crucial step in preparing the public administration for the
challenges and opportunities brought by digital transformation, ensuring that the
introduction of new technologies is carried out responsibly, transparently, and in
accordance with the upcoming legal framework of the European Union
