Book of Abstracts
The Book of Abstracts provides comprehensive information about the conference, including the program, paper abstracts, authors’ biographies, information about the centers represented at the conference, conference conclusions, and the text of the Cooperation Agreement signed by the participating centers.
The abstracts included in this publication explore the conference’s key themes: climate challenges, sustainability and heritage; new approaches to heritage management; new approaches to heritage financing; contested and difficult heritage; and heritage and tourism. Although highly relevant to contemporary heritage practice, these themes by no means exhaust the extensive range of issues facing heritage today. The publication should therefore be understood as a starting point for dialogue and for developing broader, long-term cooperation among the centers.
